Hi, I have a 16 gauge 3rd brake light. Is it OK to attach it to a 12 gauge quick release harness
    Gracias

    I don’t know about that, but I got a .410
squirrel shotgun. I use the 12 gauge
    for my duck getter.

What is the current draw on the harness...as in are you connecting it in series with the 16 gauge, or are you adding a circuit on?

You are fine. There is a fuse upstream that will trip before damage occurs.

Are you sure that wire gauge is correct? That's a pretty thick wire.
