Why would you want to be in the truck?

Hood up and a moving blanket on the wire to absorb the shock.

Yeah synthetic was a lot more $ so I opted for cable. Plus my old winch was cable and the weight didn't affect my suspension or gas.

There are times where I actually had to sit in the truck and give it some gas to help out the winch. Maybe I could've gotten out with the winch alone, but I didn't want to put too much stress on it.

Exactly, there are sometimes where it is necessary. Steering, gas, etc.

My make shift spare tire carrier. Nothing fancy, but it does its job. Picked up the metal at a local steel shop and cut to size (kind of). Big thanks to Jerry (BAMF) for welding it together and for compensating for my shitty cuts :D

It's attached to the bedrails. Pretty secure, it held up through the last wheeling trip

I'd really recommend running a few bolts through the fame and through the bottom of the bed. That bed rail isn't going to hold up very well to the weight of that tire in the long term, especially in bumpy terrain. I saw someone's bedside rip with a similar configuration. It's just sheet metal.

ahh damn that sucks. I really wanted to avoid going through the bed. But then again, I don't do the same kind of offroading you do :p I drive like a :turtleride:

I have a D-ring in that corner, maybe I'll tie it down to that somehow

It wasn't my truck that ripped ;)
Just saying, those rail channels are not meant to support 75lbs of inertia.

in-cab snorkel (big thanks to Wicked 2007) for all the tips ;)

I needed to figure out something for my intake since I had to remove the inner fenders when I got the glass fenders, so my k&n intake was just exposed to the elements. People talked about the in-cab noise this would make, I honestly don't really hear anything in city driving, but then again I drive like a turtle and keep my rpms low. I did test it at WOT on the freeway and you can definitely hear it, but it's very similar to the k&n intake, if not quieter. It'll probably be a lot louder when I tow my TT this summer, but I guess we shall see

LOL nah man that's all Pismo. Everything comes to Pismo to break. I've burnt 2 clutches there in my taco, and that's not even counting my last dip when we were just there

Thank you sir! I wish I could have done all my mods right the first time around. Wasted a lot of time and money on half ass mods, only to do it right the next time around.

The sig pic is sick, but hopefully I'll have a new one after this weekend

Same. I just went there to roll with some of the LT guys and see what it's like to jump. Was suppose to roll in Aaron's rig but he bitched out. Thanks to you and Krish I got a little taste of it though :D
