Yeah I almost went the DSM route, even with the Rebel Gift card (was going to just get something small at Rebel), but Matt seems pretty chill when talking over PM and I remember him being cool last year in Moab. But damn. If I knew it was going to be such a headache, I wouldn't have given it a thought.

I doubt Rebel can get me new coils by this weekend, so idk when I"ll be able to work on this mod yet. Thanks for the offer though

 18" coils will turn into a block at full compression but 16s should be fine... That's why I was thinking of going with 650lb 16"... Softer and longer. Maintain lift and reduce stiffness... :notsure:

I saw the forcast for tahoe this weekend. I'd be up there if I wasn't in the middle of a move, painting a house, and recovering from surgery. Mj if you need a place to do an install or help let me know.

    ...too much shit to list.

You can't fit a 16" coil on OE replacements without preloading the fuck out of the spring. 14" is the longest. 16" or 18" coils for 8" stroke shocks.

Forecast is still pretty weak at the moment. I'm not holding my breath, but I'll take any moisture right now.

 my mind is on +2 LT. But hey now I know I can't run a 16 on OE replacements.

This upgrade took longer than I expected, and it's still not done LOL

    -High Output alternator 250A
-Big 4 upgrade (just like Big 3, but added another ground)
-Dual battery set up (Red and Yellow top Optimas, Blue Sea ML-ACR)

First step was to find where to mount the second battery. I chose to relocate the power steering reservoir and build a platform for the new battery.

    before:

    after:

Then I had to find somewhere to mount the charging relay
    [IMG]

I still have to wire up the rocker switch somewhere in the cab. I'm out of switch blanks so I have to get creative on where to put it. Also waiting on my new voltage gauge to show up so I'll put that in at the same time.

    current gauge:

I'm not sure if it's the suspension or the tires, or both, but my truck did awesome. Night and day compared to my OME set up and AT tires
