Sneak peak at @RelentlessFab's new Summit front bumper design. Still need to paint and add all the goodies on it

Very cool, looks like it has a few extra speed holes. What sets it apart from the rest of his bumpers?

Ground up completely redesigned. Recessed in fairlead mount, a little bit more protection (sticks out just a bit farther but no loss of clearance), tighter gaps to the grille/body/frame, and of course the update hole pattern in the front to match where we're taking the whole line of bumpers. In the next few months all of our bumpers will transition to the new cutout patterns.

First thing I noticed was the recessed fair lead mount. That's an awesome idea and look. Good work.

Thanks again Eric @RelentlessFab. Such a drastic difference from my old one. The craftsmanship is second to none. Can't wait to get this thing mounted.

    Haha thanks man!

Anyone can go to Moab. That's the beauty of that place, there's trails for every level. Hell - I think next year I'm going to do White Rim, which is a scenic, overland-type of trail that stock rigs can do.

Definitely let me know when you're in town. I'm always game to talk trucks over a beer. Let me know if you have any questions about any of my mods.

Okay about time I updated this thing.

A few weeks ago I headed to @RelentlessFab and picked up my new Summit bumper. Having had another plate bumper before that I thought was well designed and manufactured, this is not even a comparison. And that's not saying anything bad about All Pro, it's just Eric's design is overall a lot better, stronger, more functional, and IMHO just looks better.

And not to mention great customer service. I forgot to let Eric know that I had fiberglass fenders so the bumper was too long in the wheel well and didn't match up with the fenders at all. It took Eric less than 20 minutes to take a plasma to the bumper, chop off the excess, cut new plates on his cnc, and weld on the new end caps. @Baoser came with me and took a video. Here's a screenshot:

    IMG_1718.jpg

    Now it matches up perfectly:

    IMG_1567.jpg

I rattle canned the bumper, mounted the winch and lights during the week and hosted a mod day the following weekend:

There were about 30 trucks that came out, and we did a bunch of stuff. I was working on a lot of other people's rigs that I didn't even get around to do much on my truck, but the NorCal guys were awesome and did a bunch of stuff on my truck for me.

@916TacoTruck reinforced my front bumper mounts and trimmed my resi mounts so that I could install the reinforcement brackets for the new front bumper
@Mademan925 replaced my CV boots with SDHQ boots

Then the next day, I installed a new DIY snorkel since I have glass fenders. It was actually @sytfu510 that gave me the idea. @JLee welded the aluminum tubing together a few months ago, it just took me a while to finally install it.

Just got back from snow so I took a few pics while I was out. Nothing professional, just crappy iPhone pics.

Hopefully I'll be wheeling soon and get some better pics
