    Aweome winter pics!
Just an idea being that you have access to a sewing machine -
I made an insulated liner for mine for winter but it turns out to be super useful in summer too if the sun is shining on the tent.
It's in 3 sections so you can put it up on the sun facing side only.

I used 18 oz vinyl coated polyester just like Vagabond. They sourced the tent through a boat vendor in the North Bay; I just bought online through My Tarp

Yea it's definitely a drawback not being able to store more up there, but all said and done it's not that big of an issue. I recently added a strap to my tall cabinet where the pillows can be securely stored, and I never have an issue with cargo space on trips. The only things that are not in a drawer/cabinet when I pack for trips are my Kelty double camping chair, a blanket, firewood, bag of clothes and a Front Runner Wolf pack for dry food.

Oh 100%. Except when it's snowing outside. We probably do 2-3 snow trips a year and there's nothing like dropping a load in the camper with the heater on while looking at the beautiful snowy landscape outside :D

I was going back and forth with the insulation, and something that I can still add at a later point. This guy I follow on youtube uses this stuff from Rip Stop and if I add it on, I'll probably use the same.

On our trip last week in Plumas, we had no shade because of a forest fire a few years ago. It was pretty hot in the tent in the morning because of the sun. I simply turned on the ceiling fan and my daughter and I slept for an additional hour or two. And for cold temps we just use the heater, sometimes for the entire duration of the trip. I upgraded to a 10L tank and I haven't ran out of kero/diesel on a trip so far.

I used the same exact 18oz coated poly from Mytarp.
I've made motorcycle luggage, 4 trasharoo style trash bags and a bunch of other stuff from it as well.

I got my insulating fabric through aliexpress. It took awhile but I had a hard time finding exactly what I was looking for otherwise and I bought enough to make a jacket, pants, coveralls etc. I might have bought too much.

You know... I just added a maxxair fan to my camper. I might not actually need the insulation anymore now that you mention it , lol.
