We're starting off the first right - putting a point on the board right off the bat.

    GO RANGERS!!!

Too many runs against the giants in the 9th. Sure rangers didnt win but they had solid hitting and thats what I'm afraid of...

Yup, Rangers do this game in game out; the question is can the Giants keep it up. Good job though, I tip my hat to them!

I think it is safe to say the same about Lincecum, his numbers were not that impressive. Lee was charged with 7 runs, but the 3 run shot wasn't his.

Don't worry, there are still 4 games left:ohsnap: Yeah I went there, Rangers in 5!

The question is if the Giants can do that every time. We'll be back... better be ready for it.

Ranger errors. Yes, they have solid hitting and decent pitching but bobbling the ball's not such a good thing either.

True true, that didn't help our cause. Not to mention Vladdy in right.

Yeah that's the downside. Hopefully the Giants pitching is a lot stronger to defend against the hitting. We did it against the Phillies so I'm sure the pitching will be a challenge.

You're right Lincecums numbers were not that good. There are other pitchers in the Giants lineup. Finally to be fair there are still 6 games left so I see your Rangers in 5 and I one up you in saying Giants in 6!

I don't think the Giants can keep up the excellent hitting that happened, but I do think that their pitching is a lot stronger to keep off the Rangers.

I think the pitching, on both sides, is pretty good. Just not from Lee and Lincecum--at least not the expectations that were set early on.

The first game is really a tough one to gauge the rest of the series by. Chalk it up to nerves or whatever. Tonight and the rest of the series count more.

I completely agree with the first part. The first game is tough, but you get some sort of an idea. I think the 2nd and 3rd game are most important in gauging the teams.

Well... so far this 2nd game has been a sick example of the Rangers just not showing the fuck up. More specifically the pitching staff just didn't do their part.

After watching this 8th inning I'm going to have to call into work sick...
