Man that's fucked up...I cant stand people who try to put down traps all over the place. There is a place up in the southern Maryland area called the "shed." They have had numerous old and cranky hikers who put out traps. The local PD decided to throw up some cameras recently and they managed to identify a 60 something grandma putting out these heinous hidden piece of wood with 3 inch long nails on it. There would be a few in areas where landings of jumps and stuff would be so you would bash the shit out of your bike on it. I think she got fined pretty bad and a few year suspension where she would be arrested if found in the area. Im glad to see they are getting better about that sort of stuff.

Damn that's gnarly! We didn't have much room to bitch since 95% of the trails we rode weren't technically legal... Some of them you were allowed to ride up, but not down. Always had to keep an eye for a ranger at the exit. They loved to wait for people coming down the hill.

Dude north star is the shit! SO many cool trails. Also, while a novice don't let your expert friends take you on what they consider "fun"... The "pro lines" are meant for just that hahaha. I don't even know how many times me and that bike hit the dirt. Funny thing is, most of that stuff would be fine with bigger balls and more speed, I'd find myself going to slowly.

 

Yea man I hear that, but you got to admit when you ask to roll in on a new drop or jump and you know you got to hit it since you asked, man such a rush. Nothing feels better than pushing the turns, pounding through stuff with the boys in the pack. It’s that do or die mentality in the moment that just gets me amped. I pretty much went LT cause I need adrenaline when I’m driving.

Indeed I ride up Angeles Crest Highway on my motorcycle every Saturday morning and in the past there have been people that have spilled fresh oil all over the lanes. Bikers have gone down, since then its stopped but you'll find people every where...
