    There is a bunch of hikes to do close to home, off roading is a little bit harder to come by. There are good trails just not as many as I would like.

    I'm from northern Cali, so Tahoe wasn't too far away. I'm surprised you aren't going with LT since Death Valley isn't terribly far from you.

    I wish! A little expensive to transport it from Hawaii to California just for some overoading haha. We are considering shipping the truck to Cali and do a cross country overlanding trip when I get orders back to the mainland in a couple years. We'll see though.

    I thought of going LT very momentarily... my garage isn’t big enough for the constant work that goes along with maintaining LT.

    Yea, that sounds pricey... how much does it cost to ship the truck?

    That's fair. I would love to go LT for giggles and shits one day. Maybe for my next very future build lol.

    We used the free shipping for one vehicle when we got here. Did a quick search and it looks like it will cost around $1k for a second vehicle not through the military. I would love to get it shipped to the Bay Area to visit family, then head down to SoCal and across the southern states for a trip.
