More shit then I ever planned on doing
How long are you thinking of going for? There’s probably 4 days of driving round trip.

I went for 10 last year left Friday after work and came home the following Sunday. Drove Friday night to elko spent the night then finished the drive Saturday arriving mid day. Took our time and did our grocery shopping before getting to camp. On the return leg half of us drove straight through some left Saturday and did similar to the trip out.

I'll probably be doing similar to last year again. Unless everyone. Backs out in which case I'll cut Moab short and head south to Zion

I wouldn’t mind Zion or hitting any of the other national parks on the way like some of the previous rock therapy caravans did in the past

Me and a friend in another 80 will be there April 9-19. Was there last year similar time and weather was perfect and avoided the big events, so trail traffic was minimal. If you guys are in Moab similar time, we should run some trails.

We just came back and ran it straight through. From Ouray Colorado (east and south of Moab) it was 1200 miles and 18 hours home. We live substantially farther north than most of the nor-Cal peeps, too.

I'm interested. We dig Moab. Unsure it will be warm enough during the nights and totally snow free in March or early April though. If you wanted to zip into Colorado (only a stone's throw away) I bet those passes for sure will still be snowed in that time of year.

    Sub'd for details though.

While you guys wait for April 2018, here's the trip we just got back from - 8 days, 3600 miles, all the Utah parks, some off road...

I’m always down for Moab. Probably going to make it a yearly trip.

It's in the calendar. Gotta figure out dates for spring training in AZ and try and make both work.

Sounds like a plan. The only trail that we are doing that is a must Golden Spike which is a combination of Poison Spider and Gold bar rim. Long all day trail run. Didn't get a chance to run it last year. Other than that, pretty open to whatever. My cousin, her husband and 3 daughters are coming from Portland in their Ram 1500 to join as well, so we may go hiking a day and also run scenic, accessible trails. My buddy in his 80 rolling solo, I'll have the whole family. I'm in Galt, as you guys finalize things we can all get together and go over logistics.

Sounds good I'm down for anything. Probably run hells again as it's a staple and I want to run down to canyon lands and run elephant hill again. Ran it last year and it was a fun trail but the joint trail at the end was the best part that and you can go to the confluence where the green river and Colorado join

Hells Revenge is definitely a do. I didn't run that trail either. First time there last year and was kinda overwhelmed with trail options, lol.
