    Hey all!

I’m planning a trip for January 8-12 to head out to Utah and do some wheeling.

I have a fairly built rig and my driving skill is very good.

Currently I’m open diff but hoping to have a locker installed in the rear before the trip.

I’ve never been in Utah besides for Elk Hunts and I’m very torn.

As of right now I don’t have any other rigs coming. Just my lady, my pup and me.

I wanted to ask, I know both Moab and Sand Hallow have Incredible views, amazing scenery and beautiful views.

But overall, which area is a go to place for a first timer heading out. Though I could wheel all day long 24 hours a day, my lady would like to have the options of doing other things as well.

We will be in my RTT and pretty self sufficient for the most part.

many recommendations would be awesome. I am aware it’s going to be quite cold and that’s okay as she loves the adventure.

many input etc would be awesome!

There’s an entire business, with merchandise and YouTube channel, devoted to extracting stuck 4wd’s from Sand Hollow :)

Moab would be my choice by far but expect more snow in January.

Moab would be my choice also. I've spent 4 days wheeling in Moab before and I just scratched the surface in what to explore. O would say Moab has much more to offer between wheeling and general exploring because of the national parks that are located in such close proximity to each other in Moab.

It's nice to take a break from wheeling and just still to an asphalt path leading to amazing vistas in Moab.

    Moab. For sure.

Are you solo or will there be other trucks?
