Anyone interested in doing it this year? I’m thinking a two/three night white rim trip with lots of hiking and sight seeing.

Is anybody doing this trail this year? I kind of want to try it again with camping in the middle to leave more time to check stuff out.

I did it in 6 hours last year haha. Didn't have much time to see anything.

White Rim done, need only one day to drive it slowly and less one hour next day to finish route.

Going July 20th and staying at Murphy C campsite that night and finishing on the 21st. Probably going to be hot as crap, but it was a last minute trip. Will be in the Telluride/Ouray area the next week. Any recommendations for the white rim trail?

Some places show it's close to 100 now, but the below site shows the temps as reasonable. I'm from AR and it's hot and humid as crap right now. The below temps are like spring time for me.

I camp on the WRT a few times a year. It's one of my favorite places. I was just there for a couple days right before Christmas. It was cold (25 degrees overnight) but the park was empty. Only one other person camping on the entire WRT! I'll be going back in April. Then a trip across the river to the Needles district in May.
