Picked up a heck of a deal at Tractor Supply today. Clearanced Mobil 1 synthetic for $14.99 a jug. Grabbed all the jugs they had of 0W-20 for my Tacoma. Also had 5w-30. Check em out. 20200222_162351.jpg

Hum, I've never seen the Truck & SUV version, only the Advanced Fuel Economy Mobil1 0w-20. Wonder if there's any real difference between the tow and which is recommended by Toyota?

Yeah, I've always used the Advanced fuel economy oil. Couldn't pass this up at that price.

    Their FAQ states this:
If you have had good results with your current oil, we can understand why you may be reluctant to switch motor oil. However, now there is an oil, Mobil 1 Truck & SUV advanced full synthetic motor oil, that is specially formulated for truck and SUV gasoline-powered engines with 10% more sludge-fighting additive* to provide outstanding performance and protection in normal and more severe driving conditions, such as towing and hauling. All engines generate heat, but hardworking engines can generate additional heat, which can result in oil breakdown, excessive oil consumption (burn-off) or even engine failure.

*Compared to Mobil 1™ motor oil. Additive percentage may not correspond with percentage of engine protection benefits.

Look on Mobil 1's Website, they run the rebates several times a year, l find it well worth buying a couple jugs at a time that way I always have a stash.
