Mobil 1 oil change ?

You guys are wasting your money and time. If you are going with 5000 mile changes then stick with a good conventional oil. If you are going to use Mobil 1 or any other high quality synthetic you can go at least 10000 miles between changes with a high quality filter. Of course that is only if you went with synthetic early on.

If your skeptical then do what I did and get a laboratory analysis. I go 10000 at least with Mobil 1, on all my trucks.

Recommendations for time intervals for low mileage drivers? I have a 2012 and drive less than 1000 miles a year, use Mobil synthetic and the OEM filter, never off road(actually hardly ever on road). I have factory vsc for 8 years so want to follow guidelines, not sure what is best for my truck for changes but I do take it out and run on freeway every week or two.
