Mobil 1 rebate is now active

Was in wally world yesterday and saw Mobil-1 was on sale for $22.97 for the 5qt jug so I grabbed one having forgotten about this. Just submitted my $12 rebate and will go back and buy 3 more jugs. Curious if the 4 rebate limit is by name or address because I could buy 4 more and submit them with my wifes' name.

Mobil rebate website does not list Walmart as a Participating Retailer.

 

I purchased my oil from walmart dot com free shipping and submitted rebate. Received my $48 in rebates.

Walmart is just fine to buy from

Same here. I bought 4 - 5 quart jugs from Walmart.com with free shipping and got my check in the just the other day.

 

How did you get a receipt from walmart.com that actually says walmart on it. I submitted my rebate for my walmart.com purchase but they mobil rejected it because it didnt say walmart on it, even though there was the logo.

Thanks for the memory jog. I found the pdf that I printed up and attached to the rebate form. I called Mobil about a month ago because when checking on the status of the rebate only my old ones were listed and not the "spring rebate." When talking with the company rep, they pulled up my recent rebate submittal and was told all was good with the receipt as it showed purchase and the delivery (2 days).

Hopefully you can retrieve the receipt.

I forgot this little nugget and got the email version.

My mobile bank app would not process it for deposit.

The folks at the branch needed to call their central office to figure out how to deposit it. They had “heard about but never seen one of these before”.

At least they cut up the sheet and taped it together to get it to run through the check reader.

I did the e check once, i ended up having to cut it out to make it look like a regular check, then deposited via my mobile banking app... ill never do that again, give me a real check.

 

I bought 2 jugs at Walmart. FYI walmart price matches their online prices so if online is cheaper they will match at the store.

I got my e check and printed it. Mobil deposit did not work on it so I had to go to Wells Branch to deposit it. Manager came and she deposited for me. Little bit of an issue depositing it but it worked.

Might buy 4 jugs at walmart soon.

I was amazed at how fast I received my check from Mobil in the mail, as it was about 1 week. I have been stocking up each time, so now have enough oil to last the life of this truck and maybe a little of the next.

 

Just to let people know that if you are going to buy 4-5 quart jugs of Wal-Mart Mobil 1 oil, you can get even a lower price than the rollback by buying the oil in a 3-pack online and having it delivered to your local store free.

 

Heck Walmart delivered it to my house free of charge.

 

WOW, I would have gone that route if I didn't have to pay shipping + living on the border with NH, picking it up at the store saved me 6.25% in tax, so about $6.25.

I really was hoping to pick up the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum full synthetic, but had no luck at 2 Wal-Marts and could only order it online to my home. The Ultra Platinum full synthetic came in second to Amsoil Synthetic oil in a head to head test.
