Nice, Perfect time for an oil change too. I just bought 11 quarts and 2 Puralator Pure one filters for $53. Not bad! That's like a buy one get one free oil change.

 

FWIW... I noticed for the first time (after buying stuff there a number of times) that it's actually Advance Auto Parts... not AdvanceD Auto Parts

I guess it wouldn't make sense for their slogan to be "We're ready in advanced." Still... How did I not notice this before?

At least the OEM filters are relatively cheap if you buy them by the case on Ebay.

 

i dont get the whole oem filter thing, but i guess everyone has thier own taste

I didn't either, until a few guys on here ( Chris 4x4) and some others have cut the open and actually seen the media they have. My friend is a parts Manager for Toyota, so I have been getting filters for 3.83 with his discount.
