Mobtown Bed Rack for Softopper

Just curious if any have it so the back cross bar is removable.Picking up a softopper and my thinking is trailing the quad to the hunting area and then folding it forward and then putting quad in the bed.

 

Folding the softopper forward? Yeah, I guess you can. It's a tight fit, but I've taken my softopper on and off with the rack in place. It's not easy though. You can definitely remove the rear cross bar. I honestly have no idea if a 4-wheeler will fit under a rack though. Plus, if you want to sit on top of the 4-wheeler (grew up calling them that) to move it in/out of the truck bed, you'd have to take the rack off, I'd think. How tall is the 4-wheeler, and better yet, how tall are YOU on the 4-wheeler?

 

Does anyone have a pick of this rack without the soft topper? I just want to see how I can mount a RTT.

 

what company did you go with?

 

Threaded bushing kit, linked elsewhere, but I'm not sure that group sells them anymore. Allows me to go up or down in height, prior to putting the bolts on.

I didn’t take any pictures of the top with the softtopper off. The cross bars are similar to the prinsu rack cross bars. Instead the bars are longer, mounted closer together, and the down side is that they do not have the predrilled openings to easily slide bolts into the T slots from up top.

I really like the way this rack follows the angle of the softopper in the back.

 

Sick Rack. Looks really nice. Something I visioned and had in mind. I would buy this. Too bad no fabricators currently make this. Looks like the softtopper can fold up no problem with this design.

The soft topper will fold completely.
