    Will these work on a 2007 4Runner?

No. 4Runners are way shorter than a Tacoma.

It’s just running slow for some reason. If you wait a minute or so it will load.

@Mobtown Offroad @EatSleepTacos @jowybyo is there something wrong with the Mobtown website? Taking a very long time for things to load up or not loading at all. Just a lot of buffering on the website.

Yes. We haven’t been able to figure out why it’s suddenly so slow.

Got them and had them Platinum LineX sprayed. They are Hella built tuff and easy as pie to put on with the help of a buddy (or my 14 yo son). Not gonna lie the wait time (20 weeks) sucked but understandable (covid19 partially to blame). The product is blue ribbon.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Really been considering these. Dont do hard off roading and have oval steps right now. They do look good but I live in mountains and getting them coated is not close by for me. Nice job.

Thanks! My LineX guy is an hour away and it was $360 to have them coated. Went with the platinum because it's supposed to stay somewhat glossy vs a constant dirt tinge. If you want them get them ordered. They are nearly stupid proof to install on a 3rd gen. As another mentioned above, all that's really needed is the 1/2" bolts that come with the install kit.

What do you mean you needed larger bolts? I'm expecting mine any day now. Thanks

Edited the post. They come with all the hardware and all that I used was the larger 1/2" bolts. Sorry for the confusion

Big reason I went with these is I had the oval nerf bars and I turned into a stump while navigating a logging road on my farm. The tube pushed right in like piece of bailing wire into the rocker on a previous truck. Wasn't taking a chance with this new ride.

As the manufacturer, can you please explain what you believe are the limitations of these sliders?
Can I drop down on a rock ledge with these or do you think they'll bend? Not looking to balance my truck on a boulder or crazy rock crawler stuff.

    Thanks

The Heavy Duty sliders were designed to be as close to the strength of weld on sliders as we could make them. If you want to smash rocks with reckless abandon then go with the HD.

The Overland sliders are more like a typical bolt on slider. For sliding on rocks but not bashing the hell out of everything. They can support the weight of the truck so you can use them as a jack point. They are also a like easier to install.

    Right, nothing too crazy.

All i need them to handle, at most, is occasional stuff like this.

    https://youtu.be/jsrV6FPIag4

Should the overlands be able to handle that kind of force?

Yes. But also there was no reason to drop down so hard on that rock.
