    Update:

We are making progress on getting these done.

Materials are slowing arriving so we can weld them up and test them out. Stay tuned!

Tell me about it. We must be in a geographical oddity. It is hard to get domestic DOM brought to us and even harder to find aluminum tubing that can be bent.

I volunteer as a test platform for photo ops. And should you forget to take them off I wouldn't complain. :anonymous:

You have no idea. Chicken houses are being built at an alarming rate out of nowhere around here.

I would certainly be interested in a set of these if/when they become available. Hopefully the weight savings can translate into lower shipping costs to PacNW

DCSB set with no fill plates or kick out will weight approx 32 lbs per side. Our current steel ones weight approx 68 lbs per side.

This is with much thicker material through out on the aluminum too. The weight savings will also allow us to ship them FedEx Ground instead of freight which will also get the shipping cost down.

@Mobtown Offroad If these become available, will you be offering with a "no angle" option so that it can be used as a step as well?

I am not sure yet. We might offer them as flat as the standard. Hard to make any money when you offer different angles and options because you can't build orders in batches. It is not cost effective to build one order at a time.

Fully understand that! Well, I'm definitely on board for a flat set if it shows promising results in testing. Very excited!

They will but they are not necessary to prove this out. I am still not 100% sure these are even going to work. I am building the most basic set that we sell all the time to prove that we can hi lift the truck off of them. Fill plates will add around 10 lbs to each set.
