Does the transfer case skid fit over the V6 stock exhaust crossover?

What's wrong with getting the current version while on sale?

Why would I pay for something I don't want and then have to buy what I want later?

Prototypes are done and ordered. Only plate changing is transfer case plate. The front and transmission will be the same.

We are going to make a reinforced version too. Plates will remain the same but have reinforcements on the large open areas. But they'll be more money that the standard ones.

But they're still in prototype and won't be released for a while.

I'm bouncing back and forth between steel or aluminum skids. I have all three skids in the cart and keep changing from steel to aluminum back to steel. The strength vs weight is the issue. The higher price of aluminum isn't much of the concern. What type of aluminum do you use for the skids?

Are you going to be wheeling a lot and crawling a bunch of rocks? If so get steel. If you don't wheel frequently and aren't going to be doing rock crawling you're probably fine with aluminum. You can always bang the aluminum back in to place.

    Bump.

And one last question before I checkout.

What type of aluminum do you use for the skids?
