FWIW, I had reached out to Mob Town on some questions for my slider install. This was around July and before they had an office admin/ dedicated person to answer emails and phones (which I think they've now had for at least a month). It did take some time for a response which wasnt ideal, but my emails did get answered. Joe was very helpful.

I havent needed to reach out to them since then but I would hope communication is much faster now.

Edit: I remember seeing some posts about another specific issue outside of communication and product lead times but cannot attest to those problems

When I had reached out to them I had got a response the following day, then after that a following response a hour later on a question

The good news we are rolling through skids right now. Obtaining material to build product has not been fun this year, nor has relying on vendors that we rely on to be on time.

 

No. One unanswered email hardly warrants the ax.

@Mobtown Offroad , where are you at with your front hitches for 3rd gens? Been waiting a while on my order as well. I assume all those being made now are the upgraded gusseted version.

Yes sir. Thank you. Just placed an order for a HC rear swing out. Glad you guys are shipping powder coated bumpers now. I would have driven down to pickup, but the cost of gas would have been a wash for me.

I'm so excited. I almost pulled the trigger last year, but put the money towards a few other purchases. This is the final piece to my truck and I swear I'm done...

 

I was seriously considering getting some sliders from them. I sent them a message asking if there was a discount of any kind if I picked them up locally as their pricing (on the Overland sliders) includes shipping which, as someone mentioned, can be fairly substantial. They are about 1.5 hrs from my house and an hr from my workplace in DE. All I got was a flyer for the BF sale and reply saying if I ordered the HD sliders they would discount for local pickup. I'm not sure how to feel about that. The price with the discount (15%) was over a grand which seem like a lot for sliders. If I can get others shipped to me and save money then I may go that route instead. People do seem to like the quality of the Mobtown sliders though.

If you pick up overland sliders, we refund you $100 which is what it cost us to ship them. For this to happen, just put it in the notes on the order and I’ll send you the money back.
