Haha, sort of. I have 6 sets of tubing cut, 2 hoops bent, and one set almost complete in weld. Have a ton of work to do. We sold 11 recovery bars and I was trying to get them out of the way so I can focus on sliders.

Thanks for the update. Anything special I need to have on hand for installing the recover bar?

I know you didn't ask me, sorry.
My $.02 - Another set of hands would have been very helpful installing mine. Not all the time but when taking the bumper cover off and holding the bar up (maybe). Good luck.

Harbor Freight is having a sale. You can get an extra set of hands for dirt cheap. o_O

No special tools required. Like @DrFunker said, a second person is helpful. This beast has some weight to it. It also makes it easier when removing the front bumper. I have attached installation instructions to this post so you can see what is involved and needed.

So, I picked up this D-Lift Adapter a couple of weeks ago.

Figured I'd try it out with the recovery bar. This bar is so stout, you could probably pick up three trucks with it!

Hard to tell in the pic, but the tire IS off the ground.

I actually wrote a post regarding the D-lift adapter... I'm really considering it. I bought the Hi-lift lift mate but I don't like it... Probably going to return it and get that D-lift.

I first saw this on this forum. Probably your post. If so, thank you!

I like it because you can also use it on sliders. Options are always good.

What turn me away was the price tag.... $160. I guess it's worth it.

Yeah, it's pricey. If you only need lift points, it could potentially replace sliders. Then, $160 doesn't seem too bad?

Really good point! I really don't need sliders for the time being... Funny thing is, I didn't think about it that way.

It's all a matter of perspective I guess

See? Those Jeep guys are good SOME of the time. Don't worry, I still want sliders... Lol!
