Oh, sorry man. Been there... I wouldn't have said anything. I thought you had a Taco.

Hey, at least it's not a mini-van. I rocked a couple of those back in the day

Haha, it's cool. Trust me, it was a sad day when the Taco was gone. Good news is a local guy bought it and my business partner saw it still rocking the sliders and recovery bar looking as good as ever.

Not a problem man. I was as frustrated as you I'm sure. I hate when ship does are delayed, especially when it was out of my control. I voiced my frustration with our powder coater and he turned them around next day which was good.

She's finally done! Thanks @Mobtown Offroad for the help with the "bump on the road."

    Step 1: Remove Grill

    20160101_153417.jpg

    20160101_155648.jpg

Step 2: Remove filler, but left the wires connected and filler hanging during receiver installation.

    20160101_161657.jpg

    20160101_161702.jpg

    Step 3: Remove bumper

I didn't take any pictures but one... It was easy. A couple of pop off screws and regular screws.

    20160101_161719.jpg

Step 4: I removed the Aluminum Crash Bar.

    20160101_170318.jpg

Now Installation of the front receiver.

I came across a couple of problems; just in case anyone has the same issue...

    First...
One of the holes didn't align correctly. How did I solve this? Just make the hole bigger.
    20160101_181644.jpg

I used this to make the hole on the bar bigger.

Problem No. 2. This was mainly a Toyota issue. The bar that was removed along with the bolt gave me the most problem to reinstall it. For some darn reason the bolt kept going slanted. How did I fix the issue??? Leave the problem out. Literally, I didn't reinstall it.

    VZM.IMG_20160102_141109.jpg

I replaced the small bar and original bolt with a 5/8 Bolt, washer, locking washer, fender washer, and a locking nut on both sides. Problem solved!

    VZM.IMG_20160102_141229.jpg

Now that the headache is done... I moved forward with the install.

Finished Installing the front receiver, then the crash bar was mounted, then I trimmed the plastic on the front bumper... Installed the front bumper and grill. Complete.

    It's a never ending $100-$200 a week thing & still going.
A+ to Mobtown Offroad. Got the recovery bar today. This thing is one very stout piece of metal. Very easy to install, I took my time and had to slot 1 hole on the bar and 2 on my Toyota "skid plate". I would recommend it to anyone.

Update. If you ordered a recovery bar and haven't received it yet, you will shortly! Had 4 ordered after the Black Friday sale. They were taken to powder coat today, should ship in approx 1 week.

What's the current lead time on these? I'm thinking of picking one up before I head to Moab in April.
