So I gotta ask, any word on the shipment of these bad boys. Looking forward to trying them out with my truck fold cover! Hopefully the shipment is faster than the powder coat haha

Man would love a set that is a little higher so it will work with a Solid fold 2.0 on a 16! Lol I know I'm asking a lot, but these are badass! Or maybe a quick disconnect for the cross bars so if you needed to open the cover you can just remove the bar really quick and do so.

Height wise these shiuld work with any cover. No you can't unfold the cover with bars in place, but you will need the bars to be over 2' off the bed to do that. At that point you need a full bed rack that is nearly cab height.

Well that would be even better LOL! I need a sort of ladder rack that works with the cover. Wonder if OP could offer these one day in different heights?

Not with the confidence I have in the current weight capacity. The issue is not our design that would flex or fail, it is the cleat rail that is bolted to the inner bed sides on the Tacomas. They're only bolted in 5 spots down the length, in to threaded inserts that are attached to the plastic. Too much side load will end up pulling the cleat rail out of the bed side and cause the rack to collapse. If you want to go cab height, with strength confidence, you would want to look into other vendors on here.

These were designed more in mind of the soft covers that roll up. Yes, they will work on trifold covers but you'd have to pop off the cross bars to do so. Our thoughts were more that it would be nice to have stuff on the bed bars, and still be able to easily reach in to the bed to get whatever.

Sorry for the delayed response. We are having a hell of a snow storm so naturally we are out playing in it. Yes, all orders shipped!

Well I'm up to 24" of snow now and it's still snowing hard, and now the wind is picking up. Will probably see close to 30" of snow with bad drifts. I live in an area where it is nothing but open fields of farm land. Always drifts really bad.

Any tracking #'s on the shipped ones? Wondering how much the snow slowed them down.

Yes, they go in the rail to bolt the bars down and it should've included the hardware. 5/16-18 x 1" long bolts.
