Agree, but how do they attach to the frame? Do they just rest on it as a function of the plate attachments, or are the ends of the cross -member bolted or clamped to the frame somehow? Since my plate is aluminum, I wouldn't want to rely on it to hold the cross-member in place alone.

Then if the BudBuilt flip doesn't work, I have my solution in the form of the RCI cross-member and some new mounting holes in the BB transfer case skid plate. I'll try the flip in the next couple of weeks and let you know if it works. Either way, I'll share the final results so that Joe can use them in similar compatibility situations. I'll likely place my order with Mobtown sometime this summer.

Joe - I'll PM you with my mailing address for the free-sliders coupon :D

With 16 sets between 2nd and 3rd gens on the production schedule, we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! Lead times are back down some, less than 6 weeks right now. Place your order today!

I don't like light or tunnels. Let's build more sliders!

Not really. Wouldn't be very fair to the current 16 orders in front of you that are already paid for and waiting for shipping. But our lead times are improving daily, still quoting 6 weeks, been shipping in about 4.

We are really cranking through these and getting our lead times down. Get 'em before the nice weather gets here.

Joe - Received my bare sliders on time with no issues. Thanks! They are now in the prep/painting process. So, I have time to review the PDF instructions you provide on-line. But I am confused with the instructions.

Is this updated instruction sheet you mention already in the works? I am hoping for pics. I've been studying the instructions you have on your website. It has nice, clear 3D drawings of the parts and various aspects of the installation. But the individual drawings don't show where these parts/pieces are located, in relation to the overall undercarriage of the truck.

And you use cool terms that likely most of your customers already know, but I have no clue: "Carrier bearing crossmember" "Transmission cross member" "Beam Clamps" "Main Flange" "Front Flange" "'Top Clamp." What are these? Where are these? I couldn't find a parts/hardware list in the shipment that identifies parts and hardware.

I'm the (below) average (non) mechanic guy that can bolt things together. But need to know (hopefully with pics) what to bolt together.

    Thanks for great product!

Hey Lloyd, glad they made it safe and sound. I'm going to try to remake instructions this week with better images and terms. In the mean time, why don't you call me if you get stuck somewhere.

Thanks Joe. I didn't have any problem with your Recovery Bar installation because there were a few great write-ups with pics on TW that I referenced.

Next weekend is the planned installation of the MobTown Sliders. Need another coat of paint and good week of dry time.
