Ordered my @Mobtown Offroad No Drill Bolt-On Sliders on 22OCT2017, and went to pick them up at the FedEx freight facility on 13NOV2017. Got them loaded up for the hour and a half drive home. First thoughts upon seeing them were “damn these are beefy.”

    2DAED1DD-F43E-4CB8-87E6-8929A5CBAE8B.jpg

Got them back to the house and started the unpacking, cleaning, and paint preparation. During this process I started to regret not going with the powder coating option, as there were multiple pieces requiring meticulous prep. I hit them with Rustoleum Self Etching Primer, and let them sit for 2 days since the temperature started to drop here in the Midwest.

After about a few days I was getting impatient, so I decided to take them with me and just paint them at work. I hit them with the old rattle can Rustoleum Semigloss Black. A day later I loaded them up and headed to a buddy’s shop for the much anticipated installation.

We pulled up the installation instructions via mobtownoffroad.com and got to it. Upon installation all the guys at the shop couldn’t help but marvel at design and engineering of these sliders, and kept commenting on the unique features that set them apart from others.

I am very impressed with Mobtown Offroad, and firmly believe these sliders sell themselves. The ease of the ordering process via mobtownoffroad.com was just the start, and although I was aware of the lead time up to 12 weeks, and my order being submitted around the same time SEMA was kicking off, I received my order in just over 3 weeks. I can’t rave enough about the finished product, a true bolt-on design well built with quality material, and second to none design features that you’ll find only at Mobtown Offroad. In my opinion where Mobtown truly shines is in their customer care/service! The few calls to Joe were handled with speed, professionalism, and class! I want to send a huge thank you to Joe @Mobtown Offroad for everything. Mobtown Offroad has definitely earned a loyal customer!

@Tacomamike mike. Absolutely, My wife and went wheeling first week of November at an event prior to receive the sliders, and passed on a few obstacles because we didn’t have the sliders on both our rigs

Hope so too, stoked you got them on order, I know mobtown was running a sale of 25% off, so I’m pretty sure they go a bunch of orders.

Necessary evil. You're asking to ship a 225 lb, 82" x 24" pallet almost across the country for cheap which is not realistic.

Check around but you are not going to find a price much cheaper from any vendor. Shipping sliders like ours is not cheap, no matter how you look at it.

We can even ship sliders to the West Coast often for less than companies on that coast can ship to the same coast...

It's a pretty competitive shipping price. Though I'm sure one day Amazon will figure out how to ship sliders next day for free.

Ya, I know it’s expensive to ship but I was thinking more like a 100. Really like your sliders will just have to wait for a sale or if I ever make it up that way for a road trip!
