    Now you have the wheels turning! I had another member mentioned something like this in the past. I considered it but I worry because the tailgates are so weak and the sheet metal is so thin as it is that I worried anything you put in there, bouncing around when driving will destroy the outer skin on the tailgate. I will see what I can come up with and see how I can make it work.

    Yes, I wouldn't trust the weak tailgate metal. Plus there's a lot of "braces" in the tailgate that are suppose to reinforce it in the way of storage.
