    3/16" steel skid plates from Mobtown Offroad. Pulled them off the truck to put the factory back on. Really don't do any offroading anymore, bought them for my trip to Utah. Will not split up, selling as a set. Had a local member paint them with a spray gun. He did a fantastic job and have held up extremely well. They do need to be touch up though. I have all the hardware, and I will not ship but am willing to driving a reasonable distance to get them out of the garage. Asking $500.

    Standard exhaust.

    As for driving it just depends, 2-3 hrs would probably be about it. I could meet in Chattanooga. It's about an 1.5 hrs away from me.

    They do. Only difference is oil filter access. To change the oil on the third gen you'll have to drop a 63 lb skid plate each time.

    I love my top mount hand twist on/off filter on my 2nd! Didn't know they switched to the crappy 13 sided drop in messy cartridge in '11 till after I joined TW. Just got lucky I guess.

    If I had one of those cartridge filters I'd probably end up rigging up a oil filter adapter and remote filter base so I could run oversized filters.

    Running a
    $14 Wix 51515xp XP Oil Filter
    Wix 51515xp rather than the mini 51348 it calls for, almost twice the filter media/volume.
