Mod challenge

I was just wondering if anyone has been given crap by service departments on warranty work because of modifications.

 

Yup.

I was told that my auxiliary fuse box was tied into my main harness and that I no longer had an electrical warranty because of it.

Being that I installed it, I told them it didn't touch the stock harness in ANY way and drew power directly from the battery and grounded to the chassis.

it was a long fight.

Just gotta know what you're talking about.

 

i haven't; but i keep my cars and trucks pretty much stock.

however, read these links and make sure you look after your SA at the dealer... they can go to bat for you.
