    sr5vic,

Is this the correct set of controls? It concerns me that it says it's for a Tundra. I've also seen these in my research, but these are not the ones I have seen in the Tacomas that come off the assembly line equipped with all this stuff, plus the "Tundra" ones look better.

    Thanks,
    Josh

Im sorry, I had the wrong picture at first and then I updated, so I thought. I will 100% guarantee that it is from a 2015 Tacoma. I bought the truck brand new and immediately removed the stereo and sent it to my father, who decided he didnt want to install. I will get pics from him and upload asap.

So I just installed a Entune Plus radio from a 2015 Tacoma into my 2012 Tacoma. After purchasing all the necessary connections (20 to 28 Pin and AM/FM connector) radio performs well, but I seem to have lost the USB functionality. Does anyone else have this problem? Troubleshoot to correct? Aux cable works perfectly, but still no USB.

    HELP....

You need three new cords to make it work. One plugs into back of radio, the other plugs into a cord that's behind your glovebox (it is plugged into a brown receptacle, you unplug the cord from that receptacle and plug it into your new cord). The third cord is a male to female usb cord to connect them together. I got a 3ft long one and it was actually a little too long, not sure if they make them shorter.

Here's the two cords you'll need. The one with the grey end plugs into your radio, and the one with the brown end plugs into the cord behind the glove box. Then their ends are connected together with the USB cord. This gives you full USB functionality.

I am really digging this mod!

I have a base 2015 Access Cab, I have the Conv Package also,
truck is pre-wired for a reverse camera but I don't have a camera yet.

If I can get this unit from a 2014 Nav, it gains me the navigation and what else.
I see apps shown in the first page like Pandora and such, but doesn't that require
a data connection. I see that the GPS receiver would work sitting under the dash there
which is good. Would one be able to find the factory XM unit also? Or soes this unit have Serius XM built in?

Guess what I am after is factory Nav and satellite radio in the factory head unit.

Think I just found out the unit uses your smart phones data ability to stream Pandora through the head unit.

I'm learning here guys, bare with me.

    Hey bud,

There is a guy that sells these units. You might have to ask him about the XM capability and i am sure he can hook you up

    10-4 Thanks.
I have messaged FLtrucks about it.

I mean just to have integrated Nav and Integrated Pandora would be pretty sweet also.

Sorry to dig up the tread but I'm doing the same install and had a questions for someone that added the satellite radio. My 2013 tacoma did not have the shark fin and was not wired to for XM/Sirius. I have the XM tuner on the radio and was wondering what kind of adapter do i need to buy or antenna to get this working. Searched the forums and never really got a clear answer. Thanks!

    What model is your 2015?

I have a base model 2015 and am shopping/searching to see if I could benefit from this fully...

    Thanks

    Hey man,

Could you list the part numbers to the links that you put on here? It brings up a list of parts and I want to make sure I get the correct one. Also, could you do a write up with pics? I plan on doing this once I can get a hold of all the parts. Thanks in advance!

The you need a male to female USB cord like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/3Ft-3-Feet-...001050?hash=item3384c787da:g:GvgAAOSwzaJX8ore

Pics below. The first shows the empty brown receptacle that will have a cord plugged into it. You unplug that cord and plug the brown end of the EBay cord into it (plug the EBay cord into the truck cord, not the receptacle, it remains empty once you unplug the truck cord from it).

    IMG_1615.jpg

The next pic shows the truck cord attached to the EBay cord.
