    thats what @Large told me. It is a brand new ECGS diff. He said not to be hard on it for the first 1000 miles

    Most places recommend taking it easy for the first 500 miles on a new ring and pinion set. Although they are lapped, they want you to heat cycle them initially while taking it easy on it so that it hardens even more. At least that is what I was told.
    If it is an LSD then changing the fluid around the 500 mile mark would remove any particles and allow you to see what's going on (if anything).

    Most of us don't do this lol.

    You'll need a hair dryer and fishing line.

    And a buffer can help to clear the rest of the gunk away.
