I had spacers on top of my billies with eibach springs and that never happened. Even with all the abuse I submit my truck to. That is a fluke that that happened. It wasn't caused by the spacers. Likely a jump or just a bad shock.

 

this can happen if you don't have enough travel on the shock and get fully compress before it hit the bump stop that when this happen ,like this happen to alot people who put lift spacers on the factory coilovers i haven't see a aftermarket coilovers broke like that with lift spacers on a tacoma

one of the reason i said i will not put a lift spacer on top of coilovers set at 2.5" it is because you are not post to lift a 4x4 more than 2.5" to 2.75" ( im guessing you are 4x4 I am not sure) unless you put a DB lift and i will never do that to my truck but everyone to their own that my 0.02 cents

 

Is this a 2nd Gen thing? Because I'm running a 3" lift and my CV angles aren't bad at all and I still had enough adjustment on the LCAs for alignment. I know some guys with ADD blow CV boots with a 3 inch lift if they don't do the diff drop or the boot slip mod, but it was my understanding that you could go 3" before you had to go with the DB lift to get more.
