I’ve been thinking about doing some exterior mods on my truck. Already have, rims, tires, and window deflectors. I’m very interested in a Bull Bar and Nerf Bars, any thoughts or suggestions?

Welcome to TW! If you are planning on wheeling, then nerf bars and a bull bar won't do you much good. It would be best to go with sliders and a aftermarket bumper. For aesthetics the bull bar and nerf bars will be ok. There are a lot of both exterior molds and interior mods that people do with their trucks. Search around the 2nd gen section to give you a better idea.

Ok thanks, as much as I hate to admit it I guess you could call me a bit of a Ricer, and I know the TW community isn’t huge of those ideals lol. But to be honest with you no, I’m not gonna be off-roading, this will be very much a payment princess

Awesome, Nerf Bars and and a Bull Bar would be my personal choice. Any suggestions of brands or models ?

I would check out the for sale section on the forum, my search protocols notified me of this thread since there was mention of sliders, and just before that I got a notification (x5) for people selling nerf bars/side steps! Should be some deals going around in there.

Sliders would be my first. Snorkel is an option too. Soft topper maybe?

Unless your modding just to mod, I would figure what you want the truck to do or look like first then decide on mods.

Don't get a bull bar:(. I have one and really want something else but that will have to wait until later.

I personally like the look of predator steps, maybe try looking for a set that someone on here took off?

Also, welcome to TW! Noticed you joined just a week or so ago

Just a heads up, I believe the color of your truck is called indigo ink pearl. Buddy of mine has one very similar to yours. Great color!

I have sliders but did have some nfab nerf bars and the only issue I had was the powder was failing and rusting in some spots. I live in the snow/salt belt though so in Georgia you may have better luck.

Don’t waste your money on the nerf bars. Just get sliders and be done.

Your truck looks good. I’d suggest retrofitted HID headlights as a next mod idea. Easy and well worth it (just a bit expensive).

Just put a bull bar on my Indigo Ink. Most people will say it’s unneccessary, but who cares, I like it. It’s my daily driver “mall crawler”.
