    I am going through a divorce and I was upside down in my wifes car. What I had to do to keep from it being repossesed was to sale it for what I could and take a personal loan out for the difference. It sucks but instead of having a 463 dollar car payment I have a 140 dollar payment and my credit is intact. Might be an option if you can't sale it..
