    i'm refering to the sensor you blocked off that is bolted to the valve cover with the creative mount...could be AIT sensor, im not sure because i haven't looked into making an intake for this truck.

    oops...sorry, been away for awhile.

    yes..still running it. BUT i plan on putting back the stock arm soon. before i do it though, i want to shoot a video of 0-60 for both setups.. just for kicks. I think my modded intake is faster at wot, but may not be the best for daily cruising. the a/c doesn't like it :( and now that its summer, I'll have the a/c on more often.

    So I decided to put my modified factory intake setup back on...
    but this time I added a K&N drop in panel filter!

    MUCH better throttle response over the paper filter (it was a lil dirty too). I feel no low end loss cruising around town and a nice bump in power at WOT pulls from my highly tuned butt dyno.

    ha.. I barely could comprehend your question without my morning coffee!!!


    I drilled a hole in my brand new intake tube (very scary btw) and installed a small gromet. Its not ideal but seems to work ok. just dont pull on it


    the sensor behind my intake tube is just a stupid little pressure thingy dingy that really does nothing other than tell my computer stuff that does nothing.
    it is not attached at all to the air intake tube.. and YES it is the same. I reinstalled that sensor just like it was back when I first modded the intake

    the first pic showing the grommet is exactly what i used.

    the large hose at the LEFT (always put yourself in the drivers seat) rear corner of the valve cover does nothing other than breath. old school cars used a breather filter but CA smog police will put me in jail if they see what ive done
