Testing out the full lighting scheme on a foggy night. The lights are the Rigid Midnight Dually spots on the bumper, and the rigid SS flood pattern ditch lights on CBI Offroad ditch light brackets.

I had to change the brakes so I took the opportunity to upgrade the brakes to the EBC Stage 4 kit. These things make a world of difference. Thanks to @boogie3478 for the video.

Ugh, I want that soft topper and rack combo. How heavy is the rack? How hard is it to put on and off?

It’s not too heavy. Maybe 100 lbs or so. I had a friend help me install it and it wasn’t too difficult to put on. I haven’t bothered to take it off yet. I don’t really intend to at the moment.

I've been looking at these and I really like you setup it looks great! I'm curious about how this set up has effected your storage and accessibility in the bed?

I would say that if you’re taking the top on and off, just stick with the softtopper cause it weighs like nothing. Very easy to take on and off.

Thanks! I tend to chuck more things back there now than before. However, with the attachment for the rack and the softtopper, I’ve lost a lot of real estate on the rail track system for tie downs.

So you have lost a little room on the inside? do you think the tie down ability on the outside makes up for it?

I just lost room on the rail system. So if you have large accessories like say a rotopax that mounts to the rail inside the bed it might not fit.

I’ve got similar truck to yours (2014) and fixing to do suspension.. I also have ARB bumper and winch (same size tires) and I’m thinking OME suspension.. would you mind listing OME set up you went with.. I also need new leaf pack.. I’ve been reading/searching for days on TW and you’re set up is closest to what I have.. Thnks!!

Yeah! So I have on the front the OME 90000 strut with 2886 coil over. This is the recommended shock/spring for the ARB bumper and winch combo. Also in front is the Light Racing LR25470 upper control arms. In the rear is a Deaver F85 add-a-pack leaf spring with OME 60091 rear shocks. Probably not as high speed as the Dakar, but good enough. All in all gives about a 2.75 lift in front (with the bumper and winch installed) 1.5 in rear. Install also came with a TACDR05 diff drop. (This was from ToyTech, I believe.) and of course the packing ships for the driver side lean thing. Did not get the needle valve upgrade but am considering it soon. Was a separate thing.
    Hope this info helps!

Thanks! Confirms what I need/want to do up front.. I’m still struggling with rear.. (my Oem packs are flat..) Dakar’s and extended shocks or does anybody have a good pack/shock suggestion.. not a hard core off roader, and I don’t mind the cost of Dakars, but I’m concerned/confused about the potential for high rake and squeeking... any thoughts on a leaf pack and shock Combo that won’t produce more than 3” of rear lift, and still carry 500-700#’s occasionally.. (not looking for a resi shock for my needs ..

I would say just get the Dakar replacement pack and recommended shocks. Usually a good suspension place would spec what you would want/need.

Thank you! I like the SOS bars too, but I need to re-paint them. Getting a little worn in so to speak.

Can't wait for my SOS sliders to be shipped. Your truck looks great. Are you still liking the sliders? I've got a fab fours rear bumper to install while I wait for the sliders.
