Greetings, I've been throwing $700-800 a month into my 2020 TRD OffRoad 4x4 that I got a few months back.
It's currently my daily, which I like to occasionally take to the mountains for some light duty offroading and sight seeing.

The first few months were focused on stuff for daily driving as well as recovery tools and supplies.

I'm looking for some input on priority and order for vehicle modifications with drivability, reliability and QOL first and eventual goal of more serious offroading on mountain trails.

    Current Modifications are:
    - Oversized CupHolder
    - Sliding hard tonneau
    - Yakima OverhaulHD Rack + mounting hardware for Hi-Lift, Recovery Boards, Shovel
    - Bed side molle panels.
    - Front TowHooks
    - 1.5" Hub-Centric Spacers

Here are the remaining modifications on my radar, in order of my current priority.
    - AGM Battery + Tune
    - Dual Battery Kit
    - Rock Sliders
    - Tint
    - 360* Panoramic Camera
    - 3.5" Lift
    - Sliding type sway quick-disconnects.
    - Skids
    - Steel Bumpers
    - Winch
    - Aftermarket Alarm + Remote Start
    - Lighting
    - Cab Rack
    - 270* Awning
    - RTT
    - Supercharger or ProCharger

Anything else I should add in there?

Possibly getting regeared if you want to get bigger tires

Eventually want to run 285's, it's lower on the priority list though as my 265's are brand new.

With all that weight you might still want to consider a regear either way

265s are going to look small on a 3.5 inch lift. Plus, with that size lift you're going to eat though CV axle boots.

I would do some more research on lifts.

Any lift over 2" is going to negatively impact your vehicles drivability and reliability.

2" is plenty of lift. Stick to that.

Can you recommend a good suspension lift kit, I had been eyeballing the RC Vertex 3.5 kit.

There are 100s of options. It depends on what sort of wheeling you are doing and budget.

If you really want to have fun, put every non-maintenance expense that you have done or are planning to do into a spreadsheet. Then total that amount.

Now every time I see a new toy that I want to bolt to the truck, I reference the sheet. And every time I see the money that I have already pissed away, it gives me a good reality check.

Unless you already have a specific use case (fridge, etc) i wouldn't worry about a dual battery.
Just get a good AGM. Carry a lithium jump pack they work well
If you do have a load which requires a second battery, i would look into a house battery setup with charge controller vs dual battery

Forget about 3.5" of lift, 2.5" is the most you will see without major work. But that is plenty

I would avoid too much modding untill its paid of anyway, never know what might happen

The best recovery gear is a friend with a rope. get out there and have fun, you will discover what YOU need in your truck. Thats the best part

my responsible self tells me no mods until there are no more car payment.

imagine putting all the money you want to spend on the truck payments itself? i know people that put mods on credit cards and exasperates the situation.

Fridge, Winch, several lights in front and read and I've had problems with dashcams that record 24/7 draining the battery.

Real A/T tires. Especially if you've already been out playing in the dirt!

You could go 33" pizza cutter and have no rubbing issues, before and after any lift you get. 255/85/16 or the more popular 255/80/17 tire brand.

I don't own a whole lot on it right now which is quite manegable, My concern is that parts will become less available as the new generation comes out.

I would def prioritize suspension and tires over most of the other stuff. that list will def change the more you dig into it. Will be a nice setup when your done. as you use it more the suspension may change as well.

although I have steel if your not wheeling too hard look into aluminum skids and front bumper. your truck will thank you big time.

I don't plan to wheel too hard, just don't want to moderately damage the vehicle when mudding or climbing over small rocks/stumps. I was thinking about AL skids, although I had concerns that It would be easier to get hung up with them as well as their weight would help offset the lift by adding mass mass to the underside of the vehicle?
