    CORRECT it is being cut down to the OEM tacoma rack length...so it should work for everyone

    Nice setup. Wondering if a better location to shorten the shaft would be at the knuckle instead of cutting the spline and rewelding. It would be stronger to cut at the other end, clean up and push the shaft back into the knuckle and then weld as the factory did. Or is there an issue with that technique?cutspline.jpg

    Went back and reread your post. Makes sense now, just wanted to clarify and ensure cutting near the spline and rewelding wasn't the prefered method.
