It doesn't you need a reamer.

I'm planning to use FJ80 outers as well

So who's starting the install as soon as they get their rack?

I'm more worried about cutting that bung out of the frame. There isn't a lot of room in there in the first place, it's the last place I want to spend a day.

Pardon my ignorance but what's better about the fj80 tie rod?
Do you have measurements of where the new bolt locations are going to need to be located? I may have missed it. Going to try and get in as soon as I can get funds together.

I appreciate that. Can I make a suggestion though. Don't go to far out of your way on that one. Personally this is a no turning back kinda mod and most that are willing to dump the coin are,
1)either capable enough and ballsy enough to do it themselves or
2)going to pay a capable shop to do it.

Personally all I would need is some good measurements from some good reference points that should be on the frames. If someone needs hand holding on that for this mod then you probably should suggest they not do it.

I apparently didn't take a picture of the "tool" I made for re-installing the frame bungs. But all I did was drop a bolt into each hole on the rack, then tack weld a piece of scrap steel between the two bolts.

Then I used that to locate the bungs in the frame. You're really only moving the holes 1/2" or so.

If @Basikbiker wanted to make real money on this he'd make an off-center bushing adapter to go with the energy suspension rack bushings. That would make it a virtually bolt-in modification to the truck and save something like 2 or 3 hours of fab work.

But looking at his pic from where the old holes were to where his are now not sure that an offset bushing would be quite enough. Not having either in front of me I have no clue, just speculation.

It would be tight, I'm not sure if it's actually possible or not.

But I do know I was cussing at Toyota something fierce for not making those mounts a common width.

Yea that's one option I'm lookin into...I need to take my rack back out and measure some things to see if an offset bushing would have enough to make factory mounts still work...if it did its gunna be real tight

Head to a wrecking yard or wait for another frame rust frame to come thru a dealer and cut that part out to play with.
