    Hello Everyone,

I have a BAKFlip MX4 long bed. It was damaged after it was parked in Disneyland's parking structure as it rain went through the cement and left the stains onto the cover. At first, I wanted to replace and buy a new one. However, I think it is overly priced and don't want to drop another $1100. I do love the cover for it's convenience and peace of mind to walk away knowing it's secure, but I believe it is overprice.

Nonetheless, I was thinking of painting it over with a LineX spray to give it the bedliner look and to make it more durable; like the Undercover Armorflex. I was surprised of how easily it got scratched and few dents it got as I only had it for 7 months.

Do y'all have any recommendations of how to paint, which paint? Especially how to save the water stain on the left side rail cap. I don't want to pay $200 for a new cap.

i run an undercover Ultraflex, basically the same top as the BacFlip, haven't had staining issues yet but have you tried a pressure washer by chance? the surface is smooth enough that residue should come off without issues. but being from a parking structure, not sure how much the stain burned through the coating

Did you ever end up painting it? Thinking about doing the same.
