    4 run, 2 don't
Insurance applies to all vehicles, not sure why this is a 3rd Gen topic.

With that said, it's been stated many times that individuals should simply know what they're paying for.

How often is there a thread on "what to do" after a member has an accident only to find out they only had liability or something of that nature?

Anyway, could make for a good public service announcement.

Blows my mind when people don't understand their coverages.

Sad, but seems to be the way things are headed. I used to work with insurance companies in Ontario Canada all the time and IMO, they’re some of the most crooked people I’ve ever dealt with in my life.....Flat-out lying and scamming their customers......small print.....loop-holes....collusion....any trick in the book to not pay-out, save themselves $$$ and increase people’s premiums. All while making increasingly record profits every quarter.

Not sure if it’s the same for everyone, but when we lived in the US and over in Europe, buying and using insurance was all gravy compared to Ontario...

Who modifies a leased vehicle? Anyways- they found a loophole to not pay up, pretty sad.

Chances are if you were to tell the insurance company about your mods, you're premiums will go up. I bet that guys who have more than a couple of inches of wheel "poke" would be denied coverage. We rebuild/restored a 1977 KZ650, when applying for insurance we were asked about any modifications, the only thing was a header since original pipes are unavailable, which we stated. We're insured on it. Let them know what you've done, it might raise your premiums, for good reason. The alternative is paying premiums and not be covered when something comes up.
