I plan on installing the 3 leaf pack on the rear of my '16 Tacoma, but I don't want the full 1 1/2" lift. I only want about 3/4" of lift. Is there a preference to which leaf to pull out, or has anyone done this before? I was planning on dropping out the very bottom leaf, and installing the other 2 and see how it works, then I thought about removing the upper leaf. Not sure which is best.

    Any ideas?

    TIA
    Mike

To get 1.5" in the rear you have to remove the overload. You are then talking about removing additional leafs from the pack to reduce lift. Seems like a possible risk to inverting the springs. If you did it I would remove the bottom leaf.

These springs claim .75" rear lift and increased load carrying capacity, but some have reported getting more lift:

    I'm sure there are others.

What is your end goal? Increased spring rate? Just wanting .75" lift, while not wanting to lift the front? Are you jumping like your avatar pic? If so spring inversion seems likely.

LOL, no, that's my old race truck, it had 2" negative arch, good enough for the deavers to last one season. I actually installed the front lift tonight, (ICON stage 4) and the truck sits perfectly level, which acutllay looks like its 1" higher in front. So now I'm thinking I only want 1/2 lift for the rear. My goal is to remove the overload and install the add a leaf, cause I hear they ride better, but I don't want all the lift. Mabe install the whole leaf kit and get a lowering shackle.. i dunno
