Mods effect of warranty

I got one of these fog kits -

and the instruction from the install link shows splices into dash harness wiring for the switch, etc. It got me to wondering about the warranty, should there be trouble later ....

anybody installed one of these kits? It's not a Toyota kit.

Your warranty can't be voided unless they can prove what you did directly caused the problem.

 

I wouldn't worry about warranty. They can only void a problem if it is directly related to the mod you put on. If your transmission blows and they see you have fog lights they aren't going to deny your warranty because of it.
