This is the route we hope to get to. I love my taco and plan on keeping it, but I’m hoping my wife’s next upgrade will be to either Highlander, but she’s also considering a 4-Runner Pro.

Correct answer. My wife has a 2016 Highlander as the family vehicle. We only have one 1 year old thus far, I think the Taco will handle it if we have another.
When my son is older, ill upgrade to a full size.

We have 15 and 16. The Highlander would be great for that. We had planned on just folding down the back seat at all times, and then sliding the middle row back as far as it will go, and that gives backseat passengers leg room for days. I’m 6’3” and my test is to set the drivers seat where i like it to drive and then try to sit in the backseat behind myself. The Highlander is one of the few vehicles we’ve looked at where I can say that would be comfortable. The Taco failed that test, but I couldn’t afford a full size, and I wanted to be able to run the trails here in Colorado, and I feel like a full size limits my ability to do that. If we ever move back to Ohio I will probably look at going to a full size.

Heard the Tundra's gonna be all-new for MY2020.....you guys think they'll re-do the Sequoia too? They're both pretty outdated
