I recently acquired a 2019 TRD Offroad and of course I want to improve it where I can subject to need and cost. So what do I start with? I not looking for cosmetics like blacked out lights etc.

Snatch strap and shackle hitch receiver I think is a good choice, but what after that. TRD skid plate, front bumper with winch, Maxtracs, front camera, things I did think of.

    I would like any suggestions.

Congrats! Just picked up a ‘19 as well. Suspension, tires and sliders is where I’d start...if I had the money.

I plasti-dipped my bumpers and the bezel around the grille, put in seat covers in the front, as well as weather tech mats. Ordered a bed mat just a little while ago. Saving up for an ARE Cap w/ OTR.

There are a bunch of sweet mod ideas all over the forums... this place is like crack.. I just signed up today but I've been creepin' for like 3 weeks.

I ceramic coated mine, including the windows the first weekend I had it. Well worth it.

Definitely get light bars, but aim them behind you. That way when you're in the left lane doing 5mph under the limit like everyone else in this country, you can blind those pesky people who are trying to use that lane for passing.

Completely serious. Look at this face, this is how serious I am.

How much did the ceramic coating cost you? Was thinking about doing the same.

My feeling is that cosmetic items are mainly for guys wanting to go 4 wheeling through parking lots. My first real mod was regearing. Went from 3.29's (stock with my 2019 TRD Off-Road) to 5.29's (Nitro's) and this is the absolute best mod I could recommend to anyone, but especially to someone wanting to go overlanding. Secondly, put a locker up front and an aircompressor in the bed. I also have taken out the old fuel tank and put a new larger tank (33 gallons) in. I have put in an ICON 2.5 suspension system with reservoirs and I also changed out the springs, going to OME. Changed from the 16" wheels to a 4 Runner TRD 17" wheels, did a cab mount chop and finally installed 295-70-17's. Just installed an sPod system and will shortly be installing a dual battery system. Future items include, a snorkel, lights and most likely a Goose gear system for the backseat, and yes a canopy for the bed to replace the bedcover I have now. But I do feel that it is important to start with the heart of the truck and change that first and then you can put cosmetic things on later.

I started with protecting the "NEWNESS" Weathertec mats, ceramic coating. Careful with your gauge cluster lens, scratches easy. Try not to do too many jumps until the suspension is settled ;)

I conceded to the inclination to lift and put on some bigger tires, now I am same height as a OEM domestic trucks, yes and the looks say it all Hee hee!
