Have you received your HUD from KTJO 4x4? Installed... and does it work?

I received my HUD the other day and finally got time to install it this morning (12/31/21). Unfortunately it doesn't work! It powers on and displays the voltage (I assume based on the numbers), and then the display goes dark. Pressing the control buttons elicits a beep, but the display will not power back on unless I unplug the unit from the OBD port and plug it back in... and the cycle repeats itself.

I have emailed, posted on Instagram, Facebook, and started a chat on her website, so far... no response.

Interested to hear if anyone has a unit that works, or has info on getting it to work.

If she doesn't respond I will be taking further action to force a response.

I've never been interested in any of her products, but it sounds like products and service have been in question for a long time. I think she's been banned from here as well.

If you look at her IG there's a ton of people awaiting her response. And the few she has responded to, don't sound like professional responses.

I wouldn't do business with her.

 

All your credit card company and tell them it’s brand new and defective with no response from the business. Get your money back and let them deal with “her”.

Somehow this isn’t surprising

 

They have some neat products. Too bad they’re kind of a scam.

 

I bought the remote tailgate opener from her, and I could never get it to work right.

Even with the help of a 3rd party who advised memto.try a different actuator. It still only worked about 30% of the time.

Her response, was basically
no one else has had problems, and the test version worked just fine so I had to installed it wrong.

So not surprised by all the negative reviews over her poor quality and even worse customer service and order fulfillment

 

Sorry to hear this OP. Seems like too many shit sellers peddling shit chinese products.

 

Thanks for the replies... had I known 18mo ago what I know now... I wouldn't have even thought of doing business with her.

Lesson learned (about purchasing from KTJO 4x4 and posting in the forums).

 

Why ask to have this deleted. It should stay as a way to inform others. Information is power. Unfortunately, you learned too late but others can learn from this.
