have you tried to turn the adjustment knob (on the side) that lowers/raises the buttocks portion of the seat :notsure:
do you have an adjustable lumbar lever on the other side?
now I have to pay attention to what you are mentioning with thigh not touching lol
I have so far been able to go for a couple to several hours on the freeway without needing to stop, get out and stretch, even with a bum neck

As far as I know, I think the only seats that had lumbar support were the rare limiteds or whatever. But most don't have that and none had an adjustment to raise the front of the front seats. The 2nd and 3rd gens don't have that either. The 2020 Taco will be the first that has the adjustments available to do what these spacers will do.

what does the circular adjustment wheel on yours do? not everybody has a wheel like this? right by the lever to adjust the back upright seat

    I just have SR5 @Crow_of_judgement, I think limited started in 1998?
this truck's seats sure was much desired improvement over the 95 bench seat I drove for endless hours on the hot sticky highways for 2 years, i had to make my own lumbar support with a bone pillow thingy

That wheel adjusts the forward part of the seat bottom up/down for lower thigh support.

i put a folded bath towel (kept for emergencies) under my seat for the ride home yesterday, to see what it would feel like
it felt like i was so high up off the road lol (compared to what I am accustomed to)
are these risers going to feel about the same?

I feel you're not understanding what the intent is here. If you re-read the original post, you'll see that these are just for the FRONT portion of the front seat. This will not raise your head closer to the roof. It will simply recline your seat so it supports more of your thigh by your knee.

    Almost.

I'm meeting up with Joe at Black Rock Machining next weekend. If the interest is there, we'll start digging into a solution.
