@EasyDoesIt stated in the post that he will try to keep it around $100 but these would be for 1st Tacos.

As you raise the front of the seat, you offset the holes. Plus, stacks of washers are not nearly as strong as a block of aluminum

This "product" highlights what happens when the 3rd gen effect infiltrates the first gen section...

I believe he's saying its a dumb idea. And frankly, I kind of agree. $100 PER SEAT for 2 chunks of aluminum? That's pretty asinine imo. And no one knows if this actually provides any sort of "comfort". Perhaps ya'll should make some up for some people who wanna be used as guinea pigs before any gaurantees regarding comfort are made, and all these 20 people waste their money on a product that may not provide desired results.

I get the purpose of the product in the 2nd/3rd gen trucks as seat swaps are pretty much impossible. But $200 or less will get you a set of 3rd gen 4Runner powered leather seats, that, as I understand are easy enough to install in a 1st gen with little modification. And its a gauranteed better setup. Forgive me for bashing the product, but to me, what yall are making is a gamble. Are you willing to give money back to people who aren't satisfied?

Understandable. Not speaking for everyone but my current seats are comfortable to sit on but I have katzkin leather seats with a gel pad from katzkin under the seat cover. Plus, I looked at 3rd gen 4 runner seats prior to getting leather seat covers and they are FAR more expensive than 200. I have found some that were about 300 to 400 a Piece that were in decent shape, not great shape, and that's before shipping. And then your seats won't match the color of your back seats. So, not a dumb idea but to each their own.

Well shit, so is it $100 for 4 brackets (meaning both front seats) or just 1 seat meaning 2 brackets?

Not sure how these buys go on here, but put me down for driver and passenger seat brackets if you don’t mind.

Will do bud, and this is to see what the interest is. As long as we get enough people interested then @EasyDoesIt will have his friend do the R&D and production. The more people the better but it will be around $100 per seat. But honestly, the driver is the most important, the passenger can move their legs. But hey if you want two sets :)

    I don't now man seems a little sketch :/
changing the angles and dynamics of the seat can be a huge safety concern, let alone a lawsuit waiting to happen...

Just curious, what happens to the the rear once you lift the front of the seat?

It only lifts the seat bottom portion of the seat. If you believe changing the angle would be an issue then noone should adjust the angle of their seatback by your logic, and yet, that is standard across all vehicles made in the last...well, forever (slight exaggeration). And it's securely attached to the stock location and the seat bracket attached to the aluminum block. It's just as strong as if attached to the body. And it raising the front 1 inch is not enough to do a big difference to the rear brackets.

I hear you, but I figure 1 for the taco and then I’ll see if the other fits the wife’s 2001 4Runner, if not then passenger side it goes.
