Not adjusting the seat back, adjusting the angle of the structure of the seat..
Those materials, thicknesses, cuts, welds, bends and angles are spec'd out to support a person and retain function during a collision. Do you think toyota just decided to use those radii for looks?? You've changed the dynamics, what was once a downward force is now a forward force to say the least.

    This is actually laughable
Any angle you present in the front would have a just an equally opposing angle in the rear. If you change the front, why would you not update the rear?

Not sure why anyone would do this, a towel or shim on the seat cushion does the exact same thing
I don't usually bag on new ideas but when people's safety is at stake something should be brought up, or at least discussed

Just sayin' .. Maybe a feasible solution on super older model cars (70's 80's or earlier) where safety wasn't a huge factor during design, but automotive companies spend millions and millions in R&D on safety can't imagine doing this to any type of new car whatsoever

Ive always been skeptical of seat spacers in any vehicle due to adverse affects in a collision. Id love a set for my 92, but a folded up blanket works, and is 100% safe.

Whats laughable is the fact you can't read and are missing the point. I don't want to raise the rear of the seat. That would actually raise my head closer to the ceiling. Look, if you don't like it then you don't have to buy one. This does nothing adverse to safety. But you can go ahead and put in your douchebaggery comments since you have nothing better to do with your day.

When did I mention anything about raising the rear of the seat?
I said changing the angle of the base so it's mounted properly to the floor??
Go back to school dude you have the mechanical depth of an 8 year old

Terrible seller, Terrible product, save your money

Changing the height of the front DOES change the angle, and thus the strain on the rear bolts. Simple middle school math man. aid3263930-v4-728px-Construct-a-30-Degrees-Angle-Using-Compass-and-Straightedge-Step-5Bullet1.jpg
Not saying its 30 degrees, but its getting changed nonetheless.

You cannot say these are guaranteed safe until their put on a test sled and, you know, Tested.

Didn't say it wouldn't change the angle. I said it was small enough it would not make a big difference. Also, re read the posts.

Any angle other than the stock one is an alteration to the way it was initially designed, and thus should require further testing to prove that its safe. Wether you choose to believe that simple truth or not is up to you. Enjoy the potential lawsuits.

That's a fair statement, however, almost this entire site is devoted to altering our trucks from stock, right? So, to each their own.

What anyone does to their own truck is between them and themselves. Most, if not all vendors on here are insured incase something should happen. If you stand behind your product, thats great. But making claims about safety, without any sort of product testing is just plain stupid imo. Without any sort of insurance youre opening the door to a future lawsuit. If your product is involved in a wreck, some stupid insurance adjuster could find your product to be at fault. Maybe you should look into getting insured before someone blames you for something that may or may not be caused by your product.

I agree with this, don't claim its safe to do if it hasn't been tested. It'll backfire on you.

I did look into whether I needed this. Been driving around and my legs are in a comfortable location, not agitated. I think I'll pass.

I don't see why people like you even make comments about "safety." For example, every aftermarket front full steel bumper that most people have on this site negatively affects the crumple zones and airbag deployements of our trucks. Yet, I don't see everyone chiming in on posts about front bumpers. Just let people do what they want to do. Thanks.

    OME and worth every penny.
Changing the weight or size of the driver is going to make a much bigger difference as to a strain on floor bolts. depending on the impact this may be safer. It is a 25 yr. old design.
