This is great! Maybe this will help educate my wife on why you should not accelerate into traffic...

I noticed my mpg was better when cruising at 60mph ANYWHERE, I know this v6 has lost a couple mpg since we're all probably pumping in that 10% corn starch

    Down size crank pulley
    Aluminum drive shaft
upgrade intake manifold to 4 port vs 8 port which has much better airflow
headers, recommend wrapping to keep under hood temp down.
High flow muffler, stock is whisper quiet and restrictive
    drop in air filter
EGR delete, these get gummed up and restrictive long term might not pass in CA
air dam for front especially if you have a lift kit, must be custom made for gen 1
windage tray and crank scraper, only one place custom makes these anymore ($$$) or you have to make your own for the 2rz/3rz
    light weight wheels
    electric radiator fan
new fuel injectors 12 hole, improve atomization
water meth injection, requires new ECU that's programmable
scan gauge if you don't know how to drive efficiently or monitor mods

    Did I miss anything?

Another variable to keep in mind with fuel economy is winter blend fuel. I'm no Chem Eng so I couldn't tell you the differences in energy output, but the winter blends do not generate as much energy and your fuel economy will not be what it is in the warmer months. Before I get roasted to hell about the impact of this variable, I understand there are other factors that may have a greater impact on fuel economy... I just want to make sure fuel blend is not overlooked because it can materially impact the numbers.
