Sorry brother i strongly disagree. I am not selling shit for what someone else thinks it is worth. You want what i got? Your going to pay me. Truck owners in general aren't in a hurry to part ways. That's why they hold the value. It's us holding out that keeps your resale value high. There is nothing in this world worth more than someone is willing to pay. Plenty of people thanking us over over achieving truck owners when they sell out trade theirs in. I do agree the price of a used one is high. But that's why i bought a 2019. The new truck value makes it a good buy.

You think the TRD Pro badge is "tasteful" lol ... as if he pulled off the "Off-Road" and put on the pro decal LOL

When the Harley motorcycle craze hit around 2005 a lot of guys dumped massive money into aftermarket accessories. They paid a lot for custom gas tank airbrushing artwork. Added crazy expensive stuff. There were a number of guys at work that told me how they were increasing the value of their bike. They would go on about how much the estimated worth of their bike was.

They. Were. Not. Increasing. The. Value. Of. Their. Bikes.

Same thing happens in the Corvette world. Many purchasers hardly wait to get their C7 home before they start changing everything, often just for the sake of change as opposed to improving it.

Chrome all the things! Don't forget the retina ripping red interior and American flag underhood pad.

Also many Corvette flats, can't let the plebs forget it's a CORVETTE!

Very true. Tacoma/4Runner have been amazing for a while now in the resale, used car market. How long will this trend go on for?

    Take a look through these:

Bring a Trailer - Toyota Pickups

The 1G Tacomas and pre-Tacomas running up to nearly $20,000 come to mind.

    See also these:

    Bring a Trailer - Toyota 4Runners

    No complaints here.

I'm going to go with my bone stock TRD Pro (that is actually a TRD Pro)

Anyone worth their salt knows Toyota didn't make a Pro in 2016, and never one in Inferno.

Also, Roof Top Tents are dumb.
There. I said it. (Shoot me in my ass with your LifeSling survival sling-shot if you must)
I don't want to fall down a fucking aluminum ladder when I go to take a piss.

Now Goodnight! I need rest. Fuckin' A I'm grumpy.

We don't disagree, we agree. Your post is the example of what I am describing.

In my experience, if everything is done properly it won't hurt resale at all. People just won't be willing to pay extra for accessories like a rack or wheels but you'll get market value. Again, has been my experience

I see this on motorcycles too: the sellers are flabbergasted when no one wants, or wants to pay extra, for all the farkles.
